Dogs that eat too fast are a real, common problem — this turns mealtime into a slower, calmer routine by making them work a little for their food.
The textured surface holds wet food, peanut butter, yogurt, or broth so your dog licks instead of gulps. Suction cups on the underside hold it securely to most flat surfaces (floor, tub, or crate tray) so it doesn’t slide around mid-lick.
